Client’s Need

High accuracy monitoring of filling level of medical syringes during production process, exploiting optical measurement. Real time analysis to correct operation in case of out-of-range detection.

Approach

Development and integration on RT Industrial PC od the filling syringes estimation Virtual Sensing, capable to estimated, based on data, the filling level of different syringe sizes exploiting two optical sensors. By data acquired, an automatic tool, trains a machine learning algorithm, capable to estimate the level. The tool works for different syringe sizes and return the algorithm implementable on RT PC considering implementation constraints.

  • Systematic approach to design the virtual sensing for different sizes with calibration tool.
  • High accuracy machine learning based algorithm.
  • Scale up solution for various real time target and with automated setup procedure.
