Client’s Need

Detecting of the incoming anomalies related to the devices of cortical containment and rockfall barriers of walls subjected to hydrogeological instability. Solution covers the removal of the nails, rope breakage and formation of pocket and accumulations. The detection of this condition allows to implement predictive maintenance policy to reduce cost and optimize the scheduling.

2D component mapping using semantic segmentation and object detection for nails, rope and net.
2D and 3D Computer vision AI based solution that exploiting change detection technology, detects only anomaly variation excluding vegetation and other particulars not related to the devices monitored.

Main Outcomes

  • Application based on AI installable both on the edge and in cloud, capable to return warning in case of anomaly detected. In cloud version the tool provide data analytics and report.
  • Mapping of the containment devices on absolute reference to track component installation on the walls.
